When holidaying with us at our Hemsby Beach Holiday Park, it’s always useful to know the best family friendly pubs near Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area. With dog friendly areas, play time for the kids, and fantastic hot food, you can’t go wrong!

Acle Bridge Inn, Acle

Acle Bridge Inn is a Family Friendly Pub near Great YarmouthJust a 20-minute drive from Hemsby, the Acle Bridge Inn is a favourite for holidaymakers. Run by Phil and Vanessa Hannon as a family business, the pub prides itself of high quality food and service at value for money prices and an eye for detail. The pub also has outside facilities for children, and they also welcome pets!

The Lacon Arms, Hemsby

Located just 10-minutes walking from our Hemsby Beach Holiday Park, or a 15-minute drive from Great Yarmouth, is Hemsby’s own Lacon Arms. A delightful family pub featuring a lounge, pub area, a terrace with sea views and a family-friendly beer garden, the pub serves a variety of real ales, lagers, and wines. There’s also a fantastic play area for the kids complete with pirate boat, and a traditional Carvery on Sundays.

Never Turn Back, Caister-on-Sea

Named after the phrase, “Caister men never turn back” the Never Turn Back pub in Caister, in between Great Yarmouth and Hemsby along the seafront, has two bars and a large garden. Dog friendly with lunch and evening meals, the pub also occasionally hosts live music and has a sports TV. Great for a bite to eat with the family!

Marine Family Pub, Great Yarmouth

Situated along the road behind the seafront is the family friendly Marine Pub. Having been in business for over 30 years, they give a warm welcome to all with their excellent hospitality. With a wide variety of drinks to choose from (including 45 different whiskies from around the world!) and a varied and traditionally English pub menu, including fish & chips, steak, and gammon & egg, this is a popular choice in Great Yarmouth!
