The Waterside, Rollesby
The perfect family friendly café and restaurant combination is the Waterside. With a tearoom featuring outdoor decking for al fresco eating in the summer, you can take in views of the gorgeous Trinity Broads whilst the children play on the restaurant’s play area. Choose from light meals and afternoon teas, sourced from many local and fresh ingredients and cooked to order. The café and restaurant also offer boat tours during the summer months if you fancy dabbling in boating on the Broads!
The Ferry Inn, Stokesby
A family run, children friendly business with a menu cooked fresh to order, including a kid’s menu that the smaller ones can get stuck into! The inn also features a children’s play area where the kids can burn off the rest of the day’s energy after dinner whilst you enjoy beautiful views of the River Bure. The Ferry Inn is also dog friendly, so this one is especially great for our guests staying in our pet-friendly caravans!
Bridgestones, Potter Heigham
Another great option for families visiting with their furry family members, Bridgestones in the Broads village of Potter Heigham was established in 1980 in Wroxham, before moving to Potter Heigham in 2016. A warm and friendly atmosphere makes this one of the best places to eat out with the kids in Norfolk – we bet the kids will have their eyes on the delicious homemade cakes! Serving traditional breakfasts, fish & chips, and traditional roasts, this is the perfect option for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Staithe ‘n’ Willow, Horning
Dating back from the end of the 1600s, the Staithe ‘n’ Willow in Horning is housed in a gorgeous and traditional thatched building.
