Richardson’s Announces £10m ‘Super Park’ in Hemsby!
We are pleased to announce that our family site Hemsby Beach Holiday Park and grown-ups only site Seacroft Holiday Village will be combined for 2018 to create a brand new “Super Park”!
Starting in November 2017, we will begin work on our sites to merge them into one 45-acre ‘super park’ on our existing sites on Beach Road in Hemsby.
The new development will see much more accommodation being added alongside our new-for-2016 Silver Plus 2 caravans. The new Hemsby Beach Holiday Park will feature 5 luxury lodges, 230 gold and silver caravans, 19 gold bungalows, 25 gold apartments and 117 basic chalets.
Our chief executive Greg Munford says: “Our customers have always loved this location – it’s a two-minute walk to miles of unspoilt beaches and just a short distance to the Broads National Park, so it made absolute sense to invest in the area and upgrade the park.
“We’re absolutely committed to Hemsby and can’t wait to welcome back our regulars as well as a whole new generation of holidaymakers when we relaunch in 2018.”
The refurbishment of both sites into one ‘super park’ will take place during the winter, and we expect the work to be finished in time for the 2018 holiday season, ready to welcome all of our guests, old and new, for some family-fun holidays!
Once finished, the new Hemsby Beach Holiday Park will feature a new sports bar, restaurant, leisure complex and swimming pool as well as activities including archery, fencing, cycling, zorbing, sea scooters, snorkelling, football, tennis and basketball as part of Hoseason’s Go Active range.
Simon Altham from Hoseasons says: “It’s great to see significant investment in the village, and the fantastic new accommodation and facilities at this park will provide the perfect setting for our customers to experience a GoActive break and make the most of everything the area has to offer.”
