Sheringham is a lovely seaside town nearby to Cromer, with which it shares a proud maritime and RNLI heritage. Sheringham is definitely worth a visit, with a heritage steam railway, indepdent and locally run shops as well as a beautiful, family-friendly beach with pretty views and lots more to see and do! The Courtyard is home to 6 unique shops, and also features a lovely little café. Spirit Vegan is a spiritual, ethnic and new age specialist, and you can pick up some pretty photographs at an affordable price in John Harris Photography. Zest Hair & Beauty does what it says on the tin, a friendly salon which provides a range of beauty treatments. Yolo’s Vintage and Retro shop sells a mix-match of vintage items, where Sheringham Handicrafts specialises in Papercraft materials for card making. Finally, Julie’s Coffee Shop offers a welcome respite for shopaholics, serving fresh tea and coffee alongside homemade cakes.

If you’re looking for some fresh fruit and vegetables for the caravan, try Dawn Fresh. For fresh meat try M & D Butchers. Owned by Martin and Debbie, this butchers has a selection of quality products prepared in traditional ways alongside

For souvenir sweeties, try Fudgetastic, which stocks a range of homemade sweet treats and fudge, and for vintage clothing, try Worn Out, which has a range of ladies and gentleman’s vintage clothing and accessories. You can also pick up some more souvenirs or gifts for those back home at Katie’s Gifts and Accessories, a family run business selling accessories and gifts. Creativity, established since 2007, is self-described as a “fascinating gift shop”, Creativity sells a range of cards, gift bags and wrap alongside jewellery, accessories and home décor, as well as Handmade Norfolk Soaps and Sheringham-based Stubbs Mugs.
