Top Things to Do with Children in Great Yarmouth

As well as our fantastic range of facilities and events at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park, including soft indoor play and our Ellie kid’s club, there’s lots of things to do with children in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area. These attractions are all within a short drive of our Holiday Park and are a good way to entertain younger children in Norfolk!

 

Jolly Jacks in Marina Centre, Great Yarmouth

Inside the Marina Centre in Great Yarmouth, which is also home to a family swimming pool and various other facilities, is the Jolly Jacks Soft Play Kingdom. Perfect for the kids if they’ve still got some energy to burn after exploring the local town!

 

Pettitts Animal Adventure Park

Pettitts Animal Adventure Park has a selection of gentle rides that the younger ones can ride alone or with an older sibling. There’s also Toddler’s World, and a great variety of animals to see and even handle in meet & greet sessions! With an adventure playground and places to eat, this is perfect for little ones!

 

 

 

PlayStax, Gorleston-on-Sea

A popular indoor children’s soft play centre, Play Stax is a great choice for younger children when visiting the area, especially on a rainy day! With its own café, you can treat yourself to a nice hot drink or snack whilst the kids enjoy themselves on the play area.

 

Redwings Caldecott, Fritton

Redwings is one of many things to do with children in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area.Home to 120 horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules is the Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Fritton, just a 15-minute drive from Great Yarmouth. Whilst the horses cannot be ridden, the little ones can certainly give them a cuddle and learn about the valuable work Redwings does to help rehome and rehabilitate horses with ongoing health or behavioural problems.

 

Wroxham Barns

Fun for both the little ones but also adults, Wroxham Barns has a variety of different things to do and see, from shopping to a junior farm, mini golf to eating, this is definitely somewhere to make a day trip of! The Junior Farm is a great way for little ones to interact with farm animals, from lamb bottle feeding sessions to cuddles with guinea pigs and chicks!
