The Bell Hotel

Thought to date back from 1485, the Bell Hotel sits in the heart of Norwich these days as a J.D. Wetherspoon. Refurbished in 2017, the Bell Hotel has many interesting pieces on the walls relating to Norwich’s rich past, including an old copy of the Eastern Daily Press as well as an old advert for the pub. As the pub is a J.D. Wetherspoon, this is fantastic for families with fussy eaters! Great for a lunch time pitstop, the menu comprises of a classic Wetherspoon selection, including pub classics, chicken and rib dishes as well as Sunday Brunch. A children’s menu is also available!

The Lamb Inn

Just off Gentleman’s Walk, tucked away behind the shops is the Lamb Inn. The Oak Tree

The Rushcutters Arms

Towards the outskirts of the city is the Rushcutters Arms which sits on the banks of the River Yare, Norwich’s gateway to the Broads National Park. The Rushcutters is a 16th centry Grade II listed building, and features beautiful riverside gardens and a terrace overlooking the river traffic. With pub classics, grill dishes, plus a Sunday menu alongside burgers, sharers and starters, there’s plenty to suit everyone’s tastes! The Woolpack Inn
