What to Pack for a UK Seaside Break
Here at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park we have a fantastic range of live entertainment, kid’s clubs, and facilities for you and the family to use to keep you entertained throughout your stay! Here’s our advice on what to pack for a UK seaside break!
An obvious one but it’s good to be prepared! Make sure you bring warm and waterproof clothing if you plan on exploring Norfolk during your stay with us – we’ve got a great list of things to do with the little ones as well as the older ones. Plus, if you’re planning on eating out in the local area, make sure you bring going-out clothes! You can find a list of places to eat near Hemsby here.
You’ll also need to bring things like towels and tea towels with you – but your beds will be made up upon arrival for you, so leave the bed sheets at home!
Whilst we have a fantastic range of facilities for the family on-site, including an indoor swimming pool, our fun-filled Ellie Club for the kids, and outdoor and indoor play areas, personal entertainment items for the kids might be a good idea if you just want to chill out for an afternoon, or want to have a family games night in your accommodation! Why not consider a board game, or even a deck of cards? Bucket and spade could be good too. Don’t forget your mobile phone chargers, either!
Hemsby Beach Holiday Park is a self-catered site, so if you don’t fancy eating out for every meal, we recommend bringing some food. All of our caravans, chalets and apartments have a fridge, toaster, microwave, and oven, so all your home comforts are at your finger-tips! There is a good selection of supermarkets in the nearby seaside town of Great Yarmouth, and a couple of convenience stores in Hemsby if you want to stock up when you arrive.
Don’t forget about the dog! If you’re staying in one of our pet-friendly cara
vans don’t forget to bring your dogs’ suitcase! Some of the beaches around Hemsby have restrictions on dogs, so make sure to bring a lead to adhere to regulations when needed, especially when spotting the seals at Horsey. Also remember to bring doggy bags, toys, dog bed, bowl, food, and any other comforts your pooch may require!
